1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Astral (the software, services, website, and related tools), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Astral.

Astral integrates with the Winstreak API and is part of the Winstreak.ws network; use of the Winstreak API is also governed by the Winstreak API Terms of Service. Where those terms apply, you must comply with them in addition to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Astral is an open-source Minecraft proxy and integration platform primarily used for bedwars. Astral provides features such as tab statistics, player tags, in-game IRC, analytics, and integrations that rely on data from the Winstreak API. Astral operates as a standalone project but is recognized as part of the Winstreak.ws network for service and ecosystem continuity.

Astral is provided "as is." Some features depend on third-party services (including the Winstreak API). Availability, performance, and data accuracy may vary and are not guaranteed.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for how you deploy, configure, and operate Astral; it is intended for knowledgeable users.
  • You must follow applicable laws and the terms of service of platforms you interact with (including Mojang, Hypixel, and other third parties).
  • If you use or distribute builds of Astral that depend on the Winstreak API, ensure compliance with the Winstreak API Terms of Service (including attribution and rate limits).

4. API Usage & Rate Limits

Astral depends on the Winstreak API for some features. You must follow the Winstreak API Terms of Service when using API keys and endpoints. Key points include:

  • API keys are required where indicated by Winstreak. Keep your keys private and secure. Do not share keys or embed them in public repositories.
  • Default rate limits (subject to change by Winstreak) are 120 requests per minute per key. Exceeding rate limits may result in HTTP 429 responses or temporary suspension.
  • Do not use multiple keys or otherwise attempt to circumvent rate limits.
  • Astral may enforce local caching, batching, or throttling to stay within provider limits and improve performance. Configure appropriately for high-volume environments.

5. Prohibited Behavior

  • Do not use Astral to violate or evade the rules or technical protections of Mojang, Minecraft, Hypixel, or any other third party.
  • Do not proxy, rehost, resell, or repackage the Winstreak API or Astral as a competing service.
  • Do not abuse API access (including sharing keys, generating excessive traffic, or using automation to bypass protections).
  • Do not perform actions that facilitate cheating, automation, or otherwise unfair play in multiplayer environments.
  • Do not transmit malware, harass users, or engage in illegal activity.

6. Intellectual Property & Branding

Astral is an independent, open-source project that is part of the Winstreak.ws network. Astral and Winstreak are independent of Mojang and Hypixel and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Hypixel. All trademarks and logos of Mojang, Microsoft, and Hypixel are the property of their respective owners.

Unless otherwise noted, Astral and its contributors retain intellectual property rights to the Astral codebase, assets, and documentation as provided in the project repository and its license. You may not use Winstreak or Astral branding in a way that implies endorsement by Mojang, Hypixel, or any third party.

7. Termination & Suspension

Astral or Winstreak may suspend or terminate access to Astral-related services (including API keys or integrations) for users who violate these Terms or the Winstreak API Terms of Service. Suspension or termination may occur with or without notice where abuse or legal risk is detected. Termination does not relieve you of obligations that survive termination (for example, intellectual property obligations and liability provisions).

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASTRAL, WINSTREAK, AND THEIR CONTRIBUTORS DISCLAIM ALL LIABILITY FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF ASTRAL OR ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES (INCLUDING THE WINSTREAK API), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Astral is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. Where local law limits disclaimers, liability will be limited to the minimum allowed by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Continued use of Astral after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, stop using Astral.
